I am very grateful to have had Nadia as my German teacher for the past four and a half years, with weekly online lessons. I had no previous German background, but I was given the opportunity to learn a European language and experience a different culture.

Over the years, Nadia has been incredibly patient, encouraging and supportive, helping me grow in both confidence and ability. I was fortunate enough to receive first place in German in Year 8, which was a wonderful achievement and a reflection of my hard work and the support I received from her.

Through learning German, I have also developed a much greater appreciation for German culture and history. I am so lucky I found Nadia on the First Tutor’s site, after an agonising google search for German Tutors catering to students at a Tertiary level. Nadia is an amazing tutor. She is punctual, enthusiastic, always prepared and truly a font of knowledge. It was time to find a new perspective on how to tackle the topics I struggled with most, and Nadia delivered. She excels at breaking complex concepts down to their bare fundamentals and providing examples that are easily understood. I was provided with plenty of content and worksheets that complemented my sessions, so that I could practice in my own time. Apart from one-on-one tutoring, I organised a group study session with Nadia and a few of my classmates in preparation for our exam. She reviewed our past exam papers, and prepared activities and materials that would best help us prepare.
